The Addie B. Pinkham, Ava A. Merrill & Wilma A. Richardson Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to graduating seniors of Mattanawcook Academy to pursue post-secondary education at a college or university.

Beattie Family Scholarship Fund
The Beattie Family Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance to graduating seniors at Katahdin Middle/High School seeking post-secondary education, with a preference for those students whose relatives graduated from Patten Academy. Eligible candidates are those students who have shown compassion towards, and consideration of, others. Eligible applicants will have exhibited an interest in academics and a wish to pursue a post-secondary education in a certificate, licensure or two-or four-year undergraduate degree program.

Bessie T. Gray Scholarship for Veterinary Education Fund
The Bessie T. Gray Scholarship for Veterinary Education is distributed by the University of Maine at Augusta–Bangor Campus to its students pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology.

Altrusa Club Clara Swan Designated Scholarship Fund
The Altrusa Club Clara Swan Designated Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance to a second-year student pursuing a degree in the Elementary Education program at Husson University.

Cliff Vining Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Cliff Vining Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 to award volunteers and the children or grandchildren of current and former volunteers and employees of the Cole Land Transportation Museum or Coles Express in their pursuit of a post-secondary degree or post-secondary certification.

CUA Scholarship Fund
The CUA Scholarship Fund supports graduating seniors who are residents of Corinna, Maine pursuing post-secondary study. Payment of scholarship will be for students’ second semester, after they have provided high school with transcript showing successful completion of their first semester with passing grades, and proof of enrollment for the second semester.

Dexter Sunrise Kiwanis Citizenship Award Fund
This student award was established by the Sunrise Kiwanis Citizenship Award to support graduating seniors at Dexter Regional High School and Tri-County Technical Center. Eligible students are those involved in their community and pursuing post-secondary education or training at a college or technical school

The Drake Scholarship Fund provides one scholarship each year to a graduating senior of Brewer High School pursuing post-secondary education.

Emily Trussell Stupak Scholarship Fund
The Stupak Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to support graduating seniors from high schools in Penobscot, Piscataquis and Hancock counties who are furthering their education at an accredited college or university and who have demonstrated a passionate dedication to, and talent, skill and a desire to excel in, a chosen athletic pursuit that the student plans to continue at the college level.

Floyd F. and June F. Burrill Scholarship Fund
The Floyd F. and June F. Burrill Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 to benefit deserving high school students from Yarmouth and Lincoln who plan to attend colleges or technical schools located in Maine. The awards shall be given to students who have maintained a B or better average in high school, are of good moral character, and come from families with average or less than average incomes for the State of Maine. Assistance is for the first year of the student's education.

Francis and Joseline Dupuis LeBlanc Scholarship Fund
The Francis and Joseline Dupuis LeBlanc Scholarship Fund was established through a bequest to provide support to graduating seniors at Old Town High School for post-high school education. The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of need to a student or students who possess the necessary skills and drive to succeed in a post-high school educational environment.

Frank E Spizuoco Scholarship Fund
The Frank E Spizuoco Memorial Scholarship Fund supports the graduating senior at Dexter Regional High School pursuing a post-secondary education program who exemplifies the characteristics of hard work, perseverance, endurance, and courage in the face of adversity. Preference will be given to a student who is entering the fields of forestry, agriculture, or history.

Guy Perron Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Guy Perron Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by his friends and family to support to a graduating senior athlete at Bangor High School pursuing post-secondary education, who exemplifies sportsmanship, kindness and hard work. There is preference for hockey players, students with financial need and those attending the University of Maine.

Hampden Academy Fund of the Whitmore Trust
The Hampden Academy Fund of the Whitmore Trust was established by P. Albert Whitmore in memory of his sister, Evelyn B. Whitmore, and provides scholarships to a graduating male and female student at Hampden Academy.

Herbert E. Sargent Scholarship Fund
The Herbert E. Sargent Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 through a bequest in Mr. Sargent’s will. The fund provides scholarship assistance to residents of Orono-Old Town and the surrounding community with demonstrated financial need and work ethic to complete post-secondary studies in the field of their choice.

Jeannette Martin Webb Memorial Scholarship
The family and friends of Jeanette Martin Webb established this scholarship in memory of her strong work ethic and determination which were the driving forces in raising her family. As a motivated single mother, she worked full time while taking courses to advance her skills. From childhood on the Martin Farm in Old Town to her retirement at H.E. Sargent, she was always ready to lend a hand and help others in need.
This scholarship honors her in hopes of making a significant difference to deserving single-parent students in Penobscot County who would like to further their education. This may include continuing education certificates, licensing programs, or community and vocational colleges.

The Jeffrey Peet Memorial Scholarship Fund supports graduates of Hampden Academy pursuing post-secondary education.

Joleen Fitzpatrick Raymond Scholarship Fund
This fund was established in 1994 by friends and family of Joleen Fitzpatrick Raymond. Joleen had been a teacher, friend, and community and church leader in the towns of Houlton and Orono – places she called “home” -- for many years. Her fund provides scholarship support to graduating seniors at Houlton High School and/or Orono High School pursuing post-secondary studies in the field of education.

The Kathleen Recker Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Hampden Academy from Hampden, Newburgh and Winterport, who demonstrate financial need and academic and academic promise, with a preference for those who are studying or intend to study history.

Lawrence and Geneva Robinson Scholarship Fund
The Lawrence and Geneva Robinson Scholarship Fund supports graduating seniors at Katahdin High School pursuing post-secondary education at a college, university, community college or vocational school. Eligible students reside in the towns of Mount Chase, Patten, Stacyville, Benedicta, and Sherman.

Marion F. and Peter Plouff Scholarship Fund
The Marion F. and Peter Plouff Scholarship Fund provides renewable support to residents of Dexter to pursue their education at a post-secondary institution. Preference will be given to adult learners returning to school to continue their education and students who have previously received a Plouff scholarship.

Marshall Stern Scholarship Fund
This fund was established in 1995 in memory of Marshall A. Stern, Esq. Mr. Stern was a graduate of Bangor High School, the University of Maine, and Suffolk Law School. He possessed a great love and respect for education and his alma mater, the University of Maine. This fund provides renewable scholarship support for graduates of Bangor High School attending the University of Maine. Selection will be based on academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.

MaineCF partners with the Patten Lumbermen’s Museum to offer this scholarship award to a graduating student at Katahdin High School or Southern Aroostook High School who is pursuing study in the forest industry at college or a trade school.

The Maynard and Clara Eldridge Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarship support to two Hampden Academy students each year who plan to continue post-secondary education for careers in agriculture, veterinary science, environmental protection or a comparable pursuit.

Morna Kimball Rawcliffe Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Morna Kimball Rawcliffe Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarship assistance to a graduating senior at Hampden Academy who is in the top 20% of their graduating class and is involved in athletics. There is a preference for those involved in basketball and / or music programs.

Patten Lumbermen's Museum Marvin "Bud" Blumenstock Scholarship Fund
Maine Community Foundation partners with the Patten Lumbermen’s Museum to offer this scholarship which supports one student annually who is pursuing college or a trade school education in the forestry industry. Eligible students are graduating seniors at Katahdin High School or Southern Aroostook Community High School.

Pearl P. Schoppe Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the fund is to support scholarships to Husson College for residents of the Orono, Old Town, Bangor, and Brewer area who demonstrate financial need and who have resided in that area for at least one year.

Plymouth Lodge No. 65 Odd Fellows Scholarship Fund
Plymouth Lodge No. 65 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows was founded in Dexter in 1871. It was headquartered in what is now the Morrison Building, in which beautiful stained glass windows depict the various branches of the Lodge. Plymouth Lodge No. 65 surrendered its charter in 2006 due to declining membership. As a final gesture of fraternity and philanthropy, Lodge members established a scholarship fund to support graduating seniors at Dexter Regional High School pursuing a post-secondary degree in the health care field with a preference for nursing.

The Roderick E. & Margaret D. Farnham Fund was established in 1996 to provide scholarship support to a graduate of Hampden Academy who wishes to continue their education at a post-secondary college or university, with preference for graduates attending Colby College.

Ruth Gray Scholarship Fund
The Ruth Gray Scholarship Fund was established in 2010 to support two or more scholarships annually for graduating seniors at Old Town High School. The first scholarship will be awarded to students who plan a career in science or medicine. A second scholarship will be available to hardworking students who demonstrate the ability and desire to pursue post-secondary education.

This scholarship was established in 1993 in memory of Ruth Milan to support students who are pursuing a B.S. in nursing at Husson, Eastern Maine Community College, Beal College and the University of Maine at Orono.

Sawyer Scholarship Fund
The Sawyer Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to the sons, daughters, and spouses of employees of Casella - Maine (officers and directors are not eligible to participate). The fund, established in 1988, offers scholarships to qualifying students desiring to pursue vocational training or advanced educational studies beyond high school.
