Belvedere Historic Preservation and Energy Efficiency

Over a 15-year period, Maine Community Foundation’s Belvedere Historic Preservation grant program awarded over 280 grants totaling over $3.5 million to museums, libraries, churches, historical societies, towns, and other historic preservation projects across the state.

The Belvedere Historic Preservation and Energy Efficiency grant program closed in 2024. Most organizations and projects that previously received funding from the program are eligible to apply to our Community Building grant program. All 2025 proposals must meet the Community Building eligibility and criteria. Learn more about the Community Building grant program.
