Philanthropic Impact
- In 2024, the Maine Community Foundation awarded more than $84 million in grants and scholarships
- Since its founding in 1983, the community foundation has distributed more than $749 million in grants and scholarships
- The community foundation manages more than 2,300 funds with a value more than $811 million. Those funds include more than 760 scholarships for Maine students
- The community foundation also manages funds for more than 285 nonprofit organizations, helping nonprofits build a perpetual source of funding
- Donor-advised funds are an integral part of our work, representing nearly 40 percent of assets under management.
