MaineCF welcomes new nonprofit agency fund officer

The Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF) welcomes Kim Boucher in the new role of nonprofit agency fund officer, based in the foundation’s Ellsworth office.

As part of the investment team, she works on all aspects of MaineCF’s agency fund program, with an emphasis on marketing to and acquiring new and prospective agency fund clients. She develops relationships and supports existing ones, participates in outreach activities with nonprofit organizations and leaders and provides technical assistance to fundholders.

Boucher has worked in health care fundraising, most recently as a philanthropy officer in corporate and foundation relations at Northern Light Health Foundation. She was previously the executive director for the Maranyundo Initiative in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a nonprofit that supports the Maranyundo Girls School in Nymata, Rwanda.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maine and an MBA in nonprofit management from Brandeis University.
