MaineCF announces three promotions

The Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF) announces the promotions of three employees to senior positions.

Brendon Reay was promoted to chief investment officer. Reay joined the foundation in 2022 as vice president of investments. As CIO, he works closely with the board’s Investment Committee, the chief financial officer and external advisors to ensure investment performance meets or exceeds MaineCF's benchmark. In collaboration with the CFO and chair of the Investment Committee, Reay plans and directs all aspects of MaineCF's investment activities.

Liana Kingsbury was promoted to senior director of nonprofit agency funds. Kingsbury joined the foundation in 2007. She manages all aspects of MaineCF’s agency fund program, including outreach to nonprofit organizations to discuss investment options through MaineCF as well as working with current agency fund partners across the state.

Jennifer Richard, J.D., was promoted to senior director of gift planning. She had served as director of planned giving at the foundation since 2016. As senior director, Richard works to increase MaineCF’s charitable assets by working statewide with professional advisors and promoting planned gifts from new and existing donors.
