The Maine Community Foundation announces the promotion of Laura Lee to vice president of community impact.
Lee joined the foundation in 2015 as a program officer and previously was director of grantmaking. She is based in MaineCF’s Portland office and oversees the foundation’s grantmaking and community impact operations. She also leads the program team, which works with donors, nonprofit organizations, and the community foundation’s county funds and advisors across the state.
“I am really excited to continue working with MaineCF’s amazing staff and other partners to make an even greater difference in Maine communities,” Lee said.
Lee grew up near Washington, D.C., and graduated from Oberlin College before receiving her master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has lived in Maine with her family since 2000.
