MaineCF is seeking volunteers to help review grant proposals to the Maine Land Protection grant program.

MaineCF is looking for community members who can bring their unique perspectives to help inform our grantmaking. We are particularly interested in hearing from younger people, people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC) and or LGBTQ+, as well as those from communities with limited access to green space and to explore the outdoors.

The Maine Land Protection grant program provides grants for land acquisition or land conservation easement projects that build strong connections between people in Maine and our land and water. The Maine outdoors is a uniquely special place, and we believe it is for all of us.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete this form by September 23. MaineCF staff will consider submissions and respond no later than September 27. For more information contact Program Officer Katie Howard at khoward@mainecf.org or (207) 412-0832.
