2017 Grants

  • Casco Bay Health Center, to purchase a water cooler for use by patients and clinic staff: $938
  • Fifth Maine Regiment Museum, to replace the exterior and screen doors in the dining area of the building: $4,300
  • Peaks Island Children's Workshop, to replace and extend existing roofs on PICW's three porches to protect the safety of students and shield heat pumps from damage: $5,000
  • Peaks Island Elementary School, to fund year two of an after-school coordinator and community-based enrichment program that welcomes families with young children: $10,000
  • Peaks Island Land Preserve, to repair the ice pond dam: $10,000
  • Portland Public Library, to complete the preservation and digitization of a collection of approximately 1,000 Peaks Island historical items that will then be made available to the public: $1,333
